Why Feed Biotin Boost?

Biotin is a fundamental B vitamin that is crucial for promoting & maintaining healthy hoof growth & repair. Unfortunately your horse is unable to synthesise this incredible vitamin themselves so they need a helping hand. Biotin can be found in high concentrations of alfalfa but unfortunately the levels & absorption can vary massively. Our Biotin Boost is a great way to make sure your horse is receiving a consistent and healthy amount of biotin every single day, making sure their hooves are healthy & strong. We also add Methionine into our Biotin Boost as this helps to optimise your horses absorption of Biotin. Linseed, MSM, Zinc, Calcium are also added to help further support healthy hoof, skin, bone & muscle growth.

Feeding the recommended amount of Biotin Boost will provide your horse with 20mg of Biotin

How To Feed Biotin Boost

For maintenance of hooves for Horses & Ponies we recommend feeding 50g (2.5 scoops) per day. This provides 20mg of Biotin per day.

    Feeding as an Infusion

Many herbs, including Biotin Boost, can be fed as an Infusion, this helps the active ingredients become more readily available and more easily absorbed by your horse.

    1. Put the daily required amount of herbs in a bucket (quantities stated above)
    2. Add 1/2 pint (300ml) of boiling water to the herbs, mix and then allow to cool
    3. When cooled, the whole infusion (including the herbs) can be used to dampen down your horses feed.

If you don't have access to a kettle you can just soak your herbs overnight and this will also help your horse absorb the natural vitamins, minerals & active ingredients.
