Why Feed Limestone Flour?
Limestone Flour plays a vital role in the growth of bones, teeth & hooves. It is an essential part of the body and helps in muscle contractions and the nervous system. A lack of calcium can cause weakness in the horse. Limestone Flour is recommended for horses which are fed on a cereal based diet and for bone maintenance on older horses.
What's in the bag?
We use 100% Calcium Carbonate, nothing else is added or taken away.
How To Feed Limestone Flour
This product can be mixed with your horses daily feed at the following amounts:
- Small Horse (Under 450kg) - 20g per day, this can be split between feeds or given at once
- Large Horse (450kg+) - 40g per day, this can be split between feeds or given at once
