Turmeric GOLD is the perfect blend of Turmeric Powder and freshly ground black pepper. The Piperine in the black pepper is used to enhance the bioavailability of the Curcumin (active ingredient) in the Turmeric, mixing this with our Linseed Oil provides your horse the best possible chance to absorb all of the amazing benefits that Turmeric can offer!
Our Turmeric powder contains on average, 5% Curcumin. This powdered supplement has become very popular due to its incredible benefits, which include helping with skin conditions and joint health, as well as aiding the digestive tract to ensure your horses are at their best.

How To Feed Turmeric GOLD
We highly recommend mixing Turmeric GOLD with our Linseed oil, the fatty acids in the oil provide the perfect environment for the natural compounds to mix increasing the bio availability, meaning your horse is able to absorb this mix much quicker!
- Small Horse (Under 450kg) - 25-30g (heaped tablespoon) per day, this should be mixed into a paste with with 60ml of Horse Herbs Linseed Oil and poured onto their food
- Large Horse (450kg+) - 50-60g (2 heaped tablespoons) per day, this should be mixed into a paste with with 120ml of Horse Herbs Linseed Oil and poured onto their food
- The above amounts can be halved for horses at maintenance.
As with any Turmeric based supplement, Turmeric GOLD should be introduced to the horses diet slowly, built up gradually over the course of a week or 2.
